The Genesis of the Mist
Why "The Jungle Mist"? During the initial days of Our site selection, our founders noticed a recurring phenomenon: Every Evening strong Wind Flow and Every Morning a thin layer of cooling mist would descend from the higher peaks and settle specifically over this valley, blanketing the forest in a white, ethereal glow with peculiar woody and forest fragrance accompanied with Chirping sounds of Birdsand lots of Butterflies. It wasn't just weather; it was a character. We decided to name the resort after this natural sentinel that protects the valley's silence.
Founded in 2023 by Vivek Shukla and Prashant Tripathi, the resort was born out of a shared vision and Travelling Passion of the Duo, coming from the high-pressure world of Investment Banking, and Prashant, a seasoned IT Professional, were both at a breaking point with the "urban algorithm and a successful Corporate Career."
They didn't want to build just another hotel or an noisy messy riverside camp in Rishikesh. They wanted to build a sanctuary where the only notifications you receive are the calls of the native birds and the rustling mist only to recharge and rejuvenate your soul and come back stronger to the city life.
